Our Ethos

Our primary aim is to provide a safe, nurturing environment, and we strongly believe children thrive whilst learning through play and exploration. Play is one of the most important factors in a child's life. Through play they develop physical and intellectual skills, social and emotional attitudes and language abilities. We give the opportunity to experience a wide variety of activities, from messy play to role-play!

We offer a programme of activities arranged around the 'Six Areas of Learning', as set out in the Foundation Stage Curriculum for our over 3's. For the younger children, we refer to the Birth to Three document, produced by Sure Start (Department for Education and Skills).

Throughout your child's time with us we create profile books to reflect the development of your child, share their experiences and provide a link between home and nursery.
