We are proud to announce that in March 2009 we were awarded the top 5 star Food Standards Agency rating for excellent food hygiene practice
By taking part in activities related to food and health, children can gain understanding and knowledge. A healthy environment is essential to the well being of the children and without this they could not participate in any programme arranged for them. Children and adults eat together in a relaxed and pleasureable way, which promotes good social and emotional development.
Any special diets or requirements should be discussed with the manager and chef, and they will ensure this is taken into account when planning menus.
All food served is planned to meet the nutritional needs of the children and quantities of food and drink consider medical, religious and cultural needs and preferences. The food served is well balanced and freshly cooked by our trained chef.
Meals consist of breakfast, a simple morning snack and drink, a midday meal and tea. A menu is available for parents to view in our lobby.
We keep a record of the children's dietary habits in a book for parents to see when they collect their child.
